First draft of front cover for school magazine.

Two image that will also be on the contents page. I hope they will represent the different activities available at the school.

Two images of the Chaucer technology school sixth form block that i will be using in the contents page to represent the appearance of the school positively. i would do this in the hope that they would encourage anyone who didnt attend the school to do so in the future.

This is the image i will be using for the front cover. I edited the background to this blue colour in photoshop elements. The image represents the school in a good light by showing a pupil at work, this is a good way to represent the school.

Also decided on layout for contents page.

I like the choice of images and will try to incorporate as many as possible to show people as many aspects of the school as i can. I may change the layout of the writing for the contents page but will first do a draft with this layout to see the effect it has.

Decided on the basic layout for new school magazine.

I have decided to use a "Franklin gothic heavy" font for all the writing except the banner at the top for which i will use "Impact". I may use a picture of someone working instead of this one but have drawn it for a basic idea or template. i may choose to move the writing or other information in keeping with the shape of the picture to give the magazine a more established style and make it seem more proffesional.

Mind map of ideas for new school magazine 'SIXTH'.

As you can see here i have created a mind map of ideas for my new school magazine. The mind map is in two sectons, "lower school" and "sixth form". I came up with ideas for each but have decided to make a sixth form magazine. All the ideas i intend to use are highlighted in green. I hope that the options i have chosen will make a good quality magazine.
